Does it come your love for billiards Since when?

My hobby billiards comes from when I was 12 (now 17). My father took me to one day play night club pool in Gandia (8 Ball), and not knowing could not even give the cue ball. I really liked the roll of the pool and decided to continue practicing, and when I found out they had competitions, I liked it even more because I love the competition. I started training with a man who knew how to play a lot more than me … Before, I played soccer since age 7, but left when entering the world of pool

   

What you most passionate about this sport?

I am passionate about the amount of plays you can make any shot. But certainly what I like about this sport is the world of competition, get together to compete with people who practice the same sport as you, is the most, you learn many things

What are the ways you practice?

More than anything practical ball 10 because it is a very complete and very accurate game because the slightest mistake you can lose a game. I also practice Ball 8 and 14.1. Besides I also do technique exercises

What brand taco you usually play? Would you would you change to another?

Universal game and I’m very happy with my taco, so for now I do not want to change because I am very adapted to it

How often do you play every week? Do you think it is enough to improve your game?

Play about 12 hours a week, it is quite another, if the workouts are quality and 100% concentration, that’s enough to improve the level of play.

What club you play normally? Do you think it is well conditioned for playing pool?

I train in the “CAR” Infanta Cristina Los Alcázares (Murcia). Yes, it is perfectly equipped to train and organize championships. The site has 4 tables with small pockets Buffalo. Weekends practice in the place where I started playing 12 years in Gandia (8 Ball)

What do you think they should do billiard clubs to attract more players?

Clubs must make offers to people who are interested in learning and have time to practice … and that over time all bears fruit, ie, climb the fans motivating the players, do qualifying and organize tournaments for starters

What has been your best game or tournament?

Was my best championship last season in the Championships of Spain absolutes in Padrón. I played the two absolutes but I was not very good and then played 2ºB by the CEP on 7 feet where we were 114 players and I was champion. I had to win 9 games to stay champion and was very strong for me, both physically and psychically wear, but it was worth

Have you always had confidence in your game or, on the contrary, we have entered moments of doubt?

Trust is the key both in the pool and other sports, I always have to have confidence in myself, but it is also true that there are moments of doubt, do not know whether to defend or attack … I do not know whether to place the cue ball 1 band or 2 bands … especially in the more pressure there, but when I throw if I have confidence in myself, because if I do not have, never leaves

Have you had the opportunity to compete outside Spain?

The opportunity I have had since I have been very close to qualify, but I would love to represent Spain in a European or World Cup. All in due time

What is the player that you look to try to improve your game?

I look at many international players, all professionals are good to see, because they are able to get you any ball and do something very difficult … but especially see Tony Drago, I love the speed of your shots and confidence of the same for any stroke

    

Tell us a story that has happened playing pool

Anecdotes are many .. see people decentralizing rival to fail while pulling, to see people join a game more, see people catching a ball in hand when it is not and over think he is the leading reason. How do you see the health of the sport in Spain today?

Why do you think has lowered the participation of players in national tournaments?

Clearly, the issue of money, the pool is a deporte¨caro¨ and in need of free time to train and weekends to compete. For that simple reason has lowered the number of participants in the championships

Where do you think you can be the solution?

From my point of view the solution is in the sponsors, the pool has very few sponsors and few people turn on him

Why do you think that in Spain the pool is not a very attractive sport for the media?

The pool is a minority sport, so I think that there is no media. Also in Spain almost every way this Dumps football, basketball, handball … ..so pool besides not see many sports such as archery, taekwondo, wrestling … and also these are Olympic
