This is the interview with the Galician pool player <\/span><\/span>\u00d3scar Balboa<\/span><\/span><\/a> , one of the promising young Spanish billiards and recent winner of the Northern Circuit. <\/span>We hope you like it<\/span><\/span>\"?\"<\/p>\n

Does it <\/span>come your love for billiards Since when? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nMy start in the pool dating from about 2001, when the local CBBALFER my parents who run included a pool table<\/a>, and from that 12 years had at that time started practicing this sport.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What you most passionate about this sport? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nWhat I am <\/span>most passionate about this sport is the spirit of achievement requires you everyday when you <\/span>‘re competing, and the fact surpass yourself to beat your rivals.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What are the ways you practice? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nCurrently practical modalities pool<\/a> 8 ball 9 and ball 10.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What brand taco you usually play? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nGame branded taco <\/span><\/span>Jerry Pechauer<\/span><\/span><\/a> .<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

How often do <\/span>you play every week? <\/span>Do you think it is enough to improve your game? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nGame approximately five hours a <\/span>week and when any major tournament approaches attempt to <\/span>spend more time. <\/span>I think it’s enough, especially trying to <\/span>improve the concentration that I <\/span>think is very important in this sport and learn from the defeats and the other players.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What club you play normally? <\/span>Do you think it is well conditioned for playing pool<\/a>? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nI usually play in local who run my parents CBBALFER (LUGO) and the Salon Pool Open Pool (LUGO), which I <\/span>believe is one of the best in Galicia local to practice this sport, besides being able to <\/span>keep in <\/span>mind always the knowledge of a veteran player like Jose Capon great Doval (salon owner).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What do you think they should do billiard clubs<\/a> to attract more players? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nI believe that because of the economic situation in which we find ourselves today in our country, billiard clubs<\/a> should give some ease to players as time fees, etc. <\/span>so do not assume much spending.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What has been your best game or tournament? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nMy best tournament today has been is the Northern Circuit which was held this year in Vigo and I’ve declared the <\/span>winner. <\/span>I am very pleased with the level that had the tournament with big names like David Alcaide pool<\/a>, Hector del Amo, David Alvarez, etc … of which I have great admiration and I am proud face them.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Have you always had confidence in your game or, on the contrary, we have entered moments of doubt? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nThere are moments of uncertainty and doubts that make me distrust generated at certain times of games as any player, but to this <\/span>day I <\/span>try to <\/span>improve to gain confidence and improve this aspect of my game.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Have you had the opportunity to compete outside Spain? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nI have had the opportunity to participate in 2006 and 2014 BCA Championship Championship in Las Vegas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What is the player that you look to try to <\/span>improve your game? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nWe are fortunate to have in Galicia with David Alcaide, whom I <\/span>consider the best player in Spain on merit and for which I have much admiration. <\/span>I also love the German player Thorsten Homann.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tell us a story that has happened playing pool<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\n a few years ago I was in the stands watching a confrontation of my great friend Oscar Capon Galician player. <\/span>He was playing ball 10 and I told the fellow next to him watching the confrontation which color attacked Oscar (thinking it was 8). <\/span>I’m a pretty clueless guy, those who know me well know lol<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

How do you see the health of the pool in Spain today? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nI see that is low hours due to the economic situation that we are in our country, but I have faith and believe that over time the situation will <\/span>improve, because I think there is <\/span>much fondness for this sport.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What would you say to young people so that he was encouraged to practice? <\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nBecause they would enjoy this sport, they take it as a hobby, to be humble and always respect the opponent and to move so sporty and uneconomic which is the essence of the sport. <\/span>They fight for what they want, that sooner or later the effort will be rewarded.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
